Number of things you can do to help
Hello Defenders, A number of things are going on regarding the Black Hills, and the dirty air that is coming down on top of us from North Dakota. We can do something about this, if only by our presence or our letters letting the media and the powers-that-be know our positions. Please consider participating in whatever way you can by attending the hearing, writing a letter to the editor of your local paper, and writing comments to the government agencies. Norbeck Wildlife Area (NO Logging)
The images are before and after photos of the Norbeck Wildlife area where there is to be NO logging or any kind of motorized vehicles according to 2 federal laws. As you can see, the US Forest Service has thought differently. This is why we keep proposing the Okawita Paha National Park managed by the National Park Service so this kind of destruction will not happen. These are only 2 of hundreds of spots that are currenty being logged.
